Hello! We’re the Winders family!
My Name is JT, the proud father of 3 fun filled, adventurous children and husband to the most beautiful, faith filled, humble best friend in the world! My wife’s name is Berenise! She is one of the most amazing people you’ll ever meet. Our three children, starting from the oldest, are: Asher, Adaline and Zion and they are such amazing little children! We have hearts to do big things for our Jesus!
We’ve been living in our bus a little over 2 years doing missions and we love going camping and see new places! It shows us so much of the Bigness of our God and how much He loves us!

Winders Adventures
From one season of life to the next, a verb has always found a place amongst our footsteps: Adventure.
Berenise and I (JT) met in Texas at a beautiful Bible Institute called TBI. We fell in love with Jesus and in the pursuit of Him, we also found each other. We both had a huge heart for missions and knew that it was in our dealt hand of life that God gave us.
We married in 2015 and lived in Nebraska for the first year of our marriage where we fell in love with traveling together to see God’s beautiful creation! We eventually found ourselves living in Mexico for several months followed by traveling the United States while sleeping out of a camper shell covered Chevrolet truck! We were in love with Adventuring with JESUS together!
After 3 years of marriage we found ourselves looking to dive a little deeper into the missionary lifestyle. The temptation to GO was just too much! We found ourselves back in Mexico for another 8 months followed by living in Brazil for 3 months under the umbrella of Iris Global where we learned the simplistic approach to loving people to Jesus. In those 11 months, God showed us a blueprint of our future lives and the fulfilled desire that it entailed.
In 2019 we had our first child, Asher, who brought much fun into our new “Parent” lives! Shortly after Asher’s debut, we theoretically shoveled the first scoop of dirt of the blueprint that God had previously handed us; we bought ourselves a school bus!
For two and a half years we worked relentlessly converting our steel tube into a pleasant home on wheels where we could travel and love people full time. Our humble little moving abode was everything we wanted to host us for the life God was presenting to our growing family!
Adaline was born in 2023 full of smiles and laughter! Our little children have changed our lives in the best way imaginable!
And now here we are; hanging out with our feet hovering over the accelerator pedal. Holy Spirit has orchestrated and aligned so many things to prepare us for the upcoming and current stages of life that we reside. We are so grateful for what He’s given us and delighted in the pursuit of what’s next!
He’s molded our hearts to love the lost. There is no denying that. Where the wind guides the feather as it happily falls is our lives in the pursuit of Jesus. We are a people led by the wind on one big Jesus Adventure.
